Software that fits how you already work
Most business software asks you to change how you work to match how it was built. You end up with spreadsheets bolted onto apps, five tools that don't talk to each other, and a monthly bill for features you'll never use.
Custom software flips that around. We build the tool around your actual process — the way you quote, schedule, track jobs, and get paid — so the software fades into the background and the work gets faster.
You're not renting someone else's idea of how a business should run. You're getting one built for how yours does.
- A CRM that matches your real sales stages, not a generic pipeline
- Quoting and estimate tools that use your own pricing rules
- Dashboards that show the numbers you actually check
- Customer and client portals branded as yours
- One system your team logs into instead of five
The proof is the site you're reading right now
When we say we build software, you're looking at it. evotechhouston.com is a custom Next.js and React application we designed and built in-house — not a template, not a drag-and-drop page builder.
It runs a full customer CRM, a Stripe-powered store with real checkout, live quoting and estimate tools, and automated SEO across more than 10,000 pages. The same team that built this can build the tool your business needs.
- Custom-coded front end, not an off-the-shelf template
- A working CRM that tracks a lead from first contact to paid
- Real online checkout powered by Stripe
- Live quote and estimate tools customers use themselves
- Built, hosted, and maintained by the team you'd be hiring
What we can build for you
We design and build software across the web, iOS, and Android. If it runs a part of your business, it can probably be built to fit you better than what you're renting now.
Start with the one process that causes the most friction. We can always add to it later.
- Custom CRMs and customer databases
- Internal dashboards and reporting tools
- Quoting, estimating, and invoicing tools
- Client and customer portals
- SaaS products you can sell to your own customers
- Integrations that connect the tools you already use
How we work
We start with a free consultation, not a contract. We learn how your business actually runs, then map the smallest useful version of the software — the part that solves your biggest headache first — so you see real value before you spend on the whole thing.
You own what we build. The code, the accounts, and the data are yours. We're a local Houston team, we answer, and we're here after launch.
- A free consultation to scope the real problem
- A clear plan and an honest quote before any code is written
- Built in phases so you see working software early
- You keep the code, the data, and the accounts
- A Houston team you can actually reach after launch

Frequently asked questions
How much does custom software cost?
It depends entirely on what you're building — a small internal tool and a full customer platform are very different jobs. We don't publish a one-size price because that usually means padding the small jobs and under-scoping the big ones. Book a free consultation, tell us the problem, and we'll give you an honest quote based on the actual work.
How long will it take to build?
That depends on scope, but we don't disappear for six months and hand you a mystery box at the end. We build in phases, starting with the part that solves your biggest pain, so you're looking at working software early and giving feedback the whole way. We'll give you a realistic timeline before we start, not an optimistic one.
Do I own the code once it's built?
Yes. The code, the data, and the accounts are yours. We're not renting you access to something we hold hostage. If you ever want to bring it in-house or hand it to another developer, everything is yours to take.
I already have a website or tools I use — can you work with those?
Usually, yes. A lot of our work is connecting and improving what you already have rather than throwing it out. If your current setup is worth keeping, we build around it and integrate with it. If it's holding you back, we'll tell you honestly and explain why.
Do you only work with Houston businesses?
We're based in Houston and happy to meet in person, but we build and support software remotely too. Plenty of the work — scoping, building, deploying, and ongoing support — happens online. Where you're located doesn't limit what we can build for you.
