What you get
A native Android app built in Kotlin that runs well on the phones your customers actually own — not just the newest flagship. Android is a huge range of screen sizes, price points, and OS versions, and a good build accounts for that instead of pretending everyone has the same phone.
We follow Material Design so the app feels native to Android, handle the Google Play Console setup and submission, and ship a proper App Bundle so downloads stay small on budget devices.
- Native Kotlin build that follows Android's Material Design conventions
- Tested across a realistic spread of screen sizes and Android versions
- Android App Bundle (AAB) packaging so installs stay lean
- Push notifications, background behavior, and permissions handled correctly
- Google Play Console listing and submission handled for you
- Published to Google Play under your own developer account
Why Android takes real testing
The hard part of Android isn't writing the app — it's the fact that there are thousands of device and OS combinations out there. Cheap builds test on one phone, ship, and then break for half the people who install it.
We build and test against the range that matters for your audience, so the app works on the older and lower-cost phones a lot of your customers are actually using — not just the one that happened to be on the developer's desk.
- Works on the budget and older phones a big share of users carry
- Handles different screen sizes without breaking the layout
- Respects Android's battery and background rules so it isn't killed or throttled
- Kept compatible as Google updates Play Store requirements each year

Frequently asked questions
Why is Android different from iOS to build?
Android runs on a huge variety of devices from many manufacturers, at many price points and OS versions, while Apple controls its own small hardware lineup. That variety is the real work on Android — it means more testing to make sure the app behaves everywhere, not just on one phone.
Do I need a Google Play developer account?
Yes, and it should be in your business's name. Google charges a one-time developer registration fee that goes to them. We'll help you set up the account so the app is published under you and stays your property.
Can you release the app as a downloadable file too, not just on Google Play?
Yes. Android allows installing an app directly from a file (an APK) outside the Play Store, which is useful for internal or private tools. We'll advise on when that makes sense versus a normal Play Store listing, since each has real tradeoffs.
Will it work on older Android phones?
We set a minimum Android version based on who your users actually are and test against that range. We'll be honest about the tradeoff — supporting very old phones adds work, so we scope it to your real audience rather than promising every device ever made.
