What we build
We design and build apps for the way people really use their phones — fast, clear, and dependable. That means an iPhone or Android app on the store, a web app that runs in the browser, or both from one codebase, depending on what your business actually needs.
We start with what the app has to do and who it's for, then build the simplest thing that does it well. No feature bloat, no half-finished screens, no jargon.
- Native iOS and Android apps, submitted and shipped to the App Store and Google Play
- Cross-platform apps that reach both stores from a single codebase
- Progressive web apps that install from the browser with no app store required
- Clean, usable interfaces designed before a line of code is written
- Backends, logins, payments, and notifications wired up and working
- A build that's documented and maintainable long after launch day
Why trust us to build it
Most app pitches ask you to take the work on faith. We don't. The website you're reading right now is our proof.
evotechhouston.com is custom-built on Next.js and React — over 10,000 pages, a full customer CRM, a Stripe-powered store with real checkout, live quoting and estimate tools, and automated SEO. We designed and built all of it in-house. It wasn't bought off a template. When we say we build software, you're looking at it.
We're a Houston technology company. The same team that runs low-voltage, network, and camera work also designs and ships production software — so you're hiring people who deliver, not a middleman who disappears when the build gets hard.
- A real, working platform you can inspect yourself — not a slideshow of stock mockups
- Software, apps, websites, and AI tools all built by the same in-house team
- Local and reachable — a Houston company, not an offshore shop in another time zone
- Straight answers about scope, tradeoffs, and what a feature actually costs to build
How we work
We keep it simple and honest. First a short conversation about your goal, your users, and your budget. Then a clear plan: what gets built, in what order, and what it does.
We build in stages you can see, so you're never staring at a black box wondering what your money bought. You review real screens, not promises. When it's ready, we handle the store submission and the launch — and we're still here after.
- A free consultation to scope the work before you commit to anything
- A plain-English plan you can actually read and approve
- Working builds you review as we go, not one big reveal at the end
- App Store and Google Play submission handled for you
- Support and updates after launch — apps need care, and we don't vanish
Who this is for
This is for business owners who need an app that works and holds up — not the cheapest thing that limps to launch and breaks in a month.
If you've been burned by a template that fell apart, an offshore shop that stopped answering, or a build that was never really finished, you already know why building it right matters. We'd rather do it once, correctly, and hand you something you own.
- Small and mid-size businesses that need a real app, not a toy
- Owners who want to talk to the people actually building it
- Anyone replacing an app that was left half-finished or unsupported
- Teams who want to own their code and not be held hostage to keep it running

Frequently asked questions
How much does an app cost?
It depends entirely on scope — a simple single-purpose app is a very different job than one with logins, payments, and a backend. We don't post a fake price to reel you in and then change it. Book a free consultation, tell us what you need, and you'll get a real quote tied to real work.
How long does it take to build an app?
That also depends on scope. A focused app moves faster than a large platform with many moving parts. After the first conversation we give you a staged timeline so you know what ships when — and we build in reviewable stages, so you see progress instead of waiting in the dark.
Do I own the app and the code?
Yes. You own your app and the source code. We build it so another developer could pick it up if they ever needed to — no lock-in, no holding your project hostage to keep the lights on.
I already have an app or a website. Can you take it over or fix it?
Yes. We can audit what you have, tell you honestly whether to repair it or rebuild it, and take over maintenance. Sometimes fixing is smart; sometimes an old, brittle build costs more to patch than to redo. We'll tell you straight either way.
Do you handle getting it onto the App Store and Google Play?
Yes. We prepare the build, handle the store listings and submission, and work through the review process for both Apple and Google. We'll also set you up with the developer accounts you own, so the app is published under your name, not ours.
Do you work with businesses outside Houston?
Yes. We're based in Houston and happy to meet in person locally, but software is built and delivered remotely just fine. We work with clients wherever they are.
