The right Stripe setup for how you charge
Stripe does a lot: one-time payments, subscriptions, metered billing, invoices, marketplaces. The right build depends on your model. We implement the pieces you actually use and skip the ones you don't, using Stripe's hosted, PCI-friendly components so raw card data never lands on your servers.
- One-time checkout, subscriptions, or usage-based billing as you need
- Stripe Checkout or Elements so card data stays with Stripe
- Customer, plan, and price setup that mirrors your product
- Coupons, trials, proration, and tax handling where relevant
- A test-mode build and verification before you go live
Webhooks that keep everything in sync
The payment is only half the job. Your app has to react when a charge succeeds, a subscription renews, a card fails, or a customer disputes. That happens through Stripe webhooks, and getting them right is what separates a reliable billing integration from one that silently drifts out of sync.
We verify webhook signatures, handle events idempotently so a retry doesn't double-apply, and reconcile Stripe's state with your database as the source of truth for who has access to what.
- Verified, idempotent webhook handling for the events you depend on
- Subscription lifecycle synced to your app's access and entitlements
- Failed-payment and dunning handling (retries, emails, downgrade)
- Refunds, disputes, and cancellations reflected in your data
- Reconciliation so Stripe and your database always agree
Secure, honest, and yours
You keep your own Stripe account and its keys. We build against it; we're never in the middle of your money. Keys live in a secrets manager, live and test environments stay separate, and we document the flow so your team can operate it.
- Your Stripe account and payout flow, not ours
- Secret keys in a secrets manager, restricted and rotated as needed
- Clear separation of test and live modes
- Logging of payment events without storing card numbers
- Documentation so your team can support and extend it

Frequently asked questions
Is our app PCI compliant if we use Stripe?
Using Stripe's hosted Checkout or Elements means card details go straight to Stripe and never touch your server, which greatly reduces your PCI scope, typically to the simplest self-assessment level. It doesn't erase your obligations entirely, and the exact scope depends on your setup. We build in the way that keeps that scope as small as possible and point you to Stripe's own guidance.
Can you migrate our existing customers and subscriptions to Stripe?
Often yes. Stripe supports importing customers and, in many cases, migrating cards and subscriptions from another processor through their tools. Feasibility depends on your current provider and how the data is held. We'll assess it and plan a migration that doesn't interrupt billing.
Do you take a cut of our payments?
No. Stripe's processing fees go to Stripe, and your revenue is yours. We charge for building and maintaining the integration as a project, and we're never in your payment flow.
