Accounting Software Integration

Connect Xero, QuickBooks, or another accounting platform to your app or store so invoices, payments, and customers flow automatically instead of being re-typed.

Stop double-entering the books

If your team sells or invoices in one system and then re-keys it into accounting, that's hours a week and a steady source of typos. An integration writes the transaction once and syncs it — new customers, invoices, payments, and credit notes moving between your platform and your ledger.

We map your data to the accounting system's structure carefully, because a sloppy mapping is worse than no integration — it puts wrong numbers in front of your accountant.

  • QuickBooks Online and Xero via their official APIs and sandboxes
  • Sync of invoices, bills, payments, customers, and credit notes
  • Chart-of-accounts and tax-code mapping reviewed with your bookkeeper
  • Webhook-driven updates so changes reconcile close to real time
  • Idempotent writes so a retry never creates a duplicate invoice

Built around how your business is actually set up

Every accounting file is a little different — tax rates, tracking categories, item lists, multi-currency. A generic connector often can't handle those edges, which is where a custom integration earns its keep.

We start by reviewing your live chart of accounts and a few real transactions, then build the sync to match, with a sandbox run before anything touches your production books.

  • Handling for sales tax, multi-currency, and tracking categories or classes
  • Reconciliation-friendly references so accountants can trace each entry
  • Error surfacing when a sync fails, instead of silent gaps in the ledger
  • Optional one-way or two-way sync depending on your risk tolerance
  • Testing against a sandbox company file before go-live

Frequently asked questions

Will this overwrite or mess up our existing accounting data?

That's the first thing we protect against. We test against a sandbox or a copy of your file, design the sync direction deliberately, and use references that let your bookkeeper trace every synced entry. Nothing goes to your live books until you've reviewed the sandbox results.

How much does an accounting integration cost?

It depends on how many record types you sync (just invoices vs. invoices, payments, customers, and inventory), whether it's one-way or two-way, and how custom your tax and category setup is. We don't quote a flat number blind — a short consultation lets us see your setup and give you a real scope and price.

Do you support platforms other than QuickBooks and Xero?

Often yes, as long as the platform exposes an API or supported export. Sage, FreshBooks, and others come up regularly. Tell us which system you're on and we'll confirm what's possible before you commit.
