UX Audit for Your App

A UX audit is a structured review of your live app that finds where users get stuck, confused, or drop off, then ranks the fixes by impact so you know what to change first.

What a UX audit examines

We work through your app the way your users do, screen by screen and flow by flow, and document friction against usability principles and platform conventions. The goal is not opinion; it is a specific list of what breaks the path from open to done.

Where you have analytics, we line up the qualitative findings with the numbers, so a drop-off in your funnel connects to a concrete reason on a specific screen rather than a vague hunch.

  • Core task flows: how quickly a user can complete the main job your app exists for
  • Onboarding and first-run experience, where early abandonment usually hides
  • Navigation, information hierarchy, and whether labels match user expectations
  • Form design, error handling, and dead ends that stall users
  • Consistency of patterns, states, and interactions across screens
  • Accessibility gaps that block real users from completing tasks

What you get back

You receive a prioritized findings report, not a wall of screenshots. Each issue is tagged by severity and estimated effort, so you can see the high-impact, low-effort fixes to ship this sprint versus the deeper changes to plan for.

For the issues that matter most, we include recommended solutions and, where useful, quick redesign sketches so your team knows not just what is wrong but what to do about it.

  • Issues ranked by severity and by implementation effort
  • Clear reproduction steps and the affected flow for each finding
  • Recommended fixes, not just problems
  • A short list of quick wins you can act on immediately
  • A longer-term roadmap for structural changes

Frequently asked questions

How is a UX audit different from a redesign?

An audit diagnoses; a redesign treats. The audit tells you what is hurting your users and where, ranked by impact. Many teams start with an audit precisely to avoid an expensive full redesign, because it often reveals that a handful of targeted fixes solve most of the pain.

Do you need access to our analytics?

It helps but is not required. With analytics we can tie findings to real drop-off numbers; without them we still evaluate against established usability heuristics and platform guidelines. Either way you get a concrete, prioritized list of issues.

Will the audit tell us how much revenue we are losing?

We will not invent a dollar figure. We can point to where in your funnel users are dropping and why, and if you have conversion data we can help you reason about the potential upside of fixing it. Honest analysis over inflated promises.
