UX and UI are two jobs, not one
UX — user experience — is about structure and flow: what goes where, what a user is trying to accomplish, and how few steps it takes. UI — user interface — is the visual layer: type, color, spacing, buttons, and states. A beautiful UI on a confusing structure still frustrates people; a logical structure with a sloppy UI feels untrustworthy. You need both.
We start with the user's goals and the paths through your product, then design the surface on top of that foundation.
- User flows and information architecture before visual design
- Wireframes to agree on structure before we style anything
- A visual system: type scale, color, spacing, and reusable components
- Designed states — hover, focus, loading, empty, and error, not just the happy path
- Accessibility built in (contrast, focus, keyboard) from the start
- Interactive prototypes so you can click through before we build
How we work and what you get
We design in the open with wireframes and prototypes, so you are never surprised by the final result. Where it helps, we ground decisions in lightweight research — reviewing your analytics, talking to real users, or testing a prototype — rather than guessing.
Deliverables are handoff-ready: a component library and specs a developer can build from without ambiguity.
- Discovery: your goals, your users, and a review of the current experience
- Low- and high-fidelity designs with room for your feedback
- A reusable component library for consistency as you grow
- A clickable prototype for stakeholder sign-off and user testing
- Developer handoff with specs, tokens, and states documented
- Responsive designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between UX/UI design and just "web design"?
Web design often means visuals and layout. UX/UI adds the research and structure underneath — user flows, testing, and a documented component system — which matters most for apps, dashboards, and anything users interact with heavily.
Do I need user research, or can you just design it?
We can design from your knowledge of your business, but even light research — your analytics, a few user conversations, or a prototype test — reduces expensive guesses. We'll recommend the right amount for your budget.
Do you build what you design, or only hand off files?
Both are options. We can deliver design files for your developers, or take the design through to a built, working site or app.
