Why most GA4 setups don't tell you anything useful
A lot of businesses have Google Analytics installed but never configured. The tag fires, pageviews accumulate, and no one can answer the real question: is the site actually generating leads or sales? That's because the default install doesn't know what a conversion is on your site — you have to define it.
We set up GA4 so it tracks the actions that matter to you — form submissions, calls, bookings, purchases — as conversion events, then organize it so the reports answer business questions instead of just counting visits.
- GA4 property and tracking installed correctly, often via Google Tag Manager
- Conversion events for the actions that matter (forms, calls, bookings, sales)
- Traffic sources set up so you see which channels actually convert
- Cross-domain or subdomain tracking where you need it
- Spam and internal-traffic filtering so your data stays clean
- A privacy-conscious setup with a cookie/consent approach
From data to decisions
Tracking is only useful if you can read it. We build the events and, where it helps, a simple dashboard that surfaces the handful of numbers you'll actually check — where leads come from, which pages convert, and which campaigns are worth the spend.
If you run ads, we can connect conversion tracking to Google Ads so you can see which clicks turn into real business, not just traffic.
- Conversion tracking wired to real business actions
- A simple, readable dashboard or report of your key metrics
- Google Ads and Search Console linked where relevant
- Event tracking for clicks, scrolls, downloads, or video as needed
- A short walkthrough so you know how to read your own data
- Documentation of what's tracked and why

Frequently asked questions
I already have Google Analytics — do I need this?
Possibly. Many installs only collect pageviews and never define conversions, so they can't tell you what's working. If you can't currently see how many leads or sales the site drives, it's worth a setup review.
What's the difference between GA4 and the old Analytics?
GA4 is Google's current version; the previous "Universal Analytics" was retired in 2023. GA4 is event-based, which is more flexible but also means conversions have to be set up deliberately — the reports look and work differently from the old system.
Is this compliant with privacy laws?
We set analytics up with privacy in mind — consent handling, IP settings, and filtering — but compliance also depends on your specific obligations and legal advice. We implement the technical pieces and flag where you may need a consent tool or a policy.
