Admin Dashboard Development

A custom admin dashboard puts user management, records, and daily operations behind one login, built around how your team actually works instead of forcing you into a generic template.

One screen instead of five tools and a spreadsheet

Most teams manage their business by jumping between the database, a payment tool, a support inbox, and a shared spreadsheet that only one person really understands. An admin dashboard pulls those jobs into a single, permissioned interface so your staff can find a record, update a status, or fix a problem without asking an engineer.

We design the panel around your real workflows: the actions your team performs every day become buttons, and the things that should never happen become guardrails.

  • Create, view, edit, and archive records with proper validation instead of raw database edits
  • Search and filter across users, orders, tickets, or whatever your core records are
  • Bulk actions for the repetitive work your team does dozens of times a day
  • Status changes and workflows that match your actual process, not a vendor's
  • Detail views that combine data from several systems onto one page

Roles, permissions, and an audit trail

An admin tool touches sensitive data, so access control is not an afterthought. We define who can see and change what, down to the field level where it matters, and log consequential actions so you can answer 'who changed this and when.'

That structure protects you from mistakes and makes it safe to give more of your team direct access instead of routing everything through one or two people.

  • Role-based access (admin, manager, support, read-only) scoped to your org
  • Field- and action-level permissions for sensitive operations
  • An audit log of who did what, so changes are traceable
  • Confirmation steps and soft-delete for anything hard to undo
  • Single sign-on with Google Workspace or your identity provider where needed

Built on your existing data

The dashboard connects to the database and APIs you already have. Nothing gets duplicated or migrated unless there's a reason to. That keeps the tool in sync with your production systems and avoids a second source of truth drifting away from the first.

The next step is a short, free consultation where we look at your current systems and map out the screens your team needs most.

  • Connects to your existing database (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB) or REST/GraphQL APIs
  • Reads and writes to production safely, with your business rules enforced
  • Deployed to your infrastructure or hosting we manage for you
  • Owned by you outright, with the source code in your hands

Frequently asked questions

Can you build this on top of the systems we already use?

Usually yes. If your data lives in a database or is reachable through an API, we can build an admin layer on top of it without ripping anything out. In the consultation we confirm what's connectable and flag anything that would need a workaround.

How is this different from just giving people database access?

Direct database access is fast but dangerous: no validation, no permissions, no audit trail, and one wrong query can cause real damage. An admin dashboard gives your team the same power with guardrails, so non-engineers can safely do the work themselves.

Do we own the tool, or is it a subscription?

You own it. It's a custom application built for your business, and the code is yours. There are no per-seat fees for your staff to log in and use it.
