Plan a restaurant network as three separate networks from the start: payment systems, operations, and guest. Where the equipment can survive
Heat is the main determinant of equipment life in a restaurant, and the convenient position for a rack is frequently the worst one. A back-of-house location near the kitchen line is easy to reach with cable and will run hot for the life of the installation.

The camera views that earn their place

What happens when the connection drops mid-service
